A poll observer and whistleblower in Georgia informed the State Senate that 93 percent of the military votes she counted went for Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
Debbie Fisher, a poll observer from Cobb County – the third most populated county in the state and a part of the Atlanta metropolitan area – as part of a voter review panel during the general election, revealed to a Georgia Senate subcommittee that there were major discrepancies during the election and the subsequent hand recount. She also stated that other election workers attempted to cover up these irregularities.
She further divulged that military ballots often came in in a “uniform” fashion. They were unfolded and overwhelmingly voted in favor of Biden. She noted that this is highly irregular, given that members of the military in Georgia strongly lean Republican. Even for Cobb County, which leans Democrat, it is unlikely for any liberal candidate to receive more than 60 percent of the military vote. On Nov. 16, Fisher worked as a poll observer during the state’s hand recount. During that day she reviewed 298 military ballots, 93 percent of which voted for the Democrats. She believes that this is outright impossible, especially in that part of Cobb County which typically leans Republican based on her experience as a poll worker in previous elections.
The Biden campaign has long considered the counties that make up the Atlanta metropolitan area – mainly Gwinnett, Fulton, DeKalb and Cobb Counties – as crucial in order to achieve a “victory” in Georgia.
“Of those ballots, as I walked through them piece by piece … I noticed something disturbing,” testified Fisher, who said that the ballots were “inordinately perfect” in how they had been filled out.
“They were all perfectly filled out,” she said. “About 90 percent of them had no paper folds.” Fisher considers this to be very irregular, and indicative of the possible use of a kind of machine that filled out ballots.
“I was told that in Cobb County, the military is required to [mail in their ballots],” Fisher said to the lawmakers present during her testimony. This detail is important because the poll worker testified that it should be impossible for mail-in ballots to not have any kinds of paper folds, which are likely to happen when ballots are placed into their envelopes and have to be transported to ballot counting centers.
Fisher recalled that she challenged the irregularities with the military ballots with election officials. She asked that the military ballots be thrown out. Unfortunately for her, the on-site election official refused her challenges and argued that the ballots were actually legitimate.
She noted that election officials put up other roadblocks whenever she would try to bring up other irregularities.
“People talk about obstruction, they talk about rudeness, they talk about whatever, but I can honestly tell you there was obstruction,” she added during her testimony.
The senators grilled Fisher on her knowledge of the recount. When they asked if she was aware that 99.99 percent of the ballots supposedly passed signature inspection, she parried by saying that the ballot inspectors were given a lot of authority. One of their powers was being able to approve ballots without any need for oversight from higher authorities.
Furthermore, Republican poll watchers were barred from observing ballot inspections and making sure that the ballots were accurate. Many election security experts have long speculated that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is involved in the statewide voter fraud scheme and the subsequent cover up of election irregularities.
Fisher has called on state senators to conduct further inquiries into how the military ballots were sent, collected and counted.
Raffensperger and other election officials have denied the existence of any irregularities, even during the recount. The secretary of state even said that Cobb County’s signature matching hand count audit found “no fraudulent absentee ballots.”
“The absentee ballot envelopes for the audit were ‘pulled from 30 randomly selected boxes of the accepted ABM ballots and one box identified as accepted Electronic Ballot Delivery ABM ballots,'” announced the Cobb County Elections Department in a news release. “Each of these boxes that held the ballots were previously ‘secured in boxes by the Cobb County Elections Department’ and were selected by a random number generator.”
